The intersection of wellness and education

Current education research supports that:

1.

Students' well-being is strongly influenced by their educators’ well-being.

2.

Students' success is intrinsically tied to their own social-emotional health.

3.

Mindfulness and social-emotional learning strategies are powerful vehicles to optimize the whole child’s development.

Our Why

As anxiety and depression among students and teachers rise, social-emotional learning and mindfulness have never been more imperative. We combine our experience as classroom teachers and mentors with our training in yoga and mindfulness to address the challenges of teaching, learning and parenting in the 21st century. By working with children, educators, and parents, we strive for a systemic approach in which whole adults are educating whole children.

Empower individuals to self-regulate their emotions, show empathy for others, form healthy and meaningful relationships, make responsible decisions, and build resilience.
